I have been making clothes from Vandana Raj for more than a decade.... all my saree blouses have been made by her cutter & tailor, they have given me a good fit....Her embroiderer is also very good, I have watched him at work....I have connected many many of my friends to her boutique... I am a lawyer by profession and a mother by heart. The House of VandanaRaj is a place that gifted me my dream, my bridal lehenga. Day in and day out of search resulted in a futile exercise as I was not able to lay my hands on what I wanted for my D day. Then stepped in Vandana. She asked me to trust her and I did. I flew all the way from Punjab to Bangalore to try my lehenga and bridal trousseau. I still can’t forget the day when I stepped out of the dressing room after my trial and hugged Vandana and crying “thank you”.  Everyone was all praises for my lehenga for its royal look, the detailing, for the vibrancy it exuberated and for the love it showed.  It was wrapped on elegance and sophistication. No one could believe that all my dresses were made from my mom’s sarees or her old clothes were restyled. Be it my brother’s wedding, Karva Chauth, family functions, it is always House of Vandana Raj. A place where fashion meets comfort, elegance meets detailing and that too in a pocket friendly package.

I was getting engaged and was looking for an outfit that was Indo-Western. After a lot of browsing, I decided on taking my mom's almost 30 year old banarasi saree and see if I could turn it into something special. My instant decision was to reach out to Vandana who I've know for over a decade. I knew she'd do absolute justice to the saree (that was of sentimental value as well). Elegant, Simple and Stylish with an eye for detail is the way I'd describe Vandana's style. We brainstormed a few design ideas as I wanted an elegant yet grand outfit and rightly so, I had in front of me a beautifully crafted VR anarkali made from my mom's bright pink and orange banarasi saree with brocade work. I felt tall and confident wearing Vandana Raj. Thank you for making me look so elegant! ❤️

Hi, so I was basically introduced to Vandana aunty through a friend for my wedding outfits. Being a wedding outfit, we all that specific wish of how we want to look and what we want to wear. A lot of emotion and thought goes into everything about your wedding ..from jewellery to the last cloth on you.. so, I was also looking for someone who could give me that perfect, rich, elegant and classy outfit.. and guess who I found.. yes! Vandana aunty. She has always been so patient with listening to the endless things I wanted and she so passionately gave me more ideas to make my outfit more perfect.. overall.. I'd say. She's the best I have been to and the best own are all designed by her. I have to mention how she gave me a perfectly mordern designed blouse with my traditional kanjeevaram sarees. Till today everyone asks me who is my designer.

Vandana Raj is an exceptionally creative designer. She takes time to get to know her clients and designs outfits keeping their inherent personality in mind. This is what makes each piece she designs so special and unique! She has the ability to effortlessly transform a plain piece of material into a fabulous design! I've leaned on her expertise for over a decade now, and her designs have been a part of all occasions, big or small, over this time.

Special mention for the in-house behind-the-scenes talent - her team has a very strong understanding of shape, fit, different types of embroidery, hand work and design and they are able to bring her imagination to life absolutely perfectly!

Vandana Raj is a designer who gives time and effort to detailing. I have gotten two dresses made from her on two different occasions. She spent time with me understanding my requirement, made me go through trials to see the best color that suited me and made sure the outfit came out the way I wanted. She also kept me informed on the progress of the work and made sure it was delivered on time. She insisted I visited the studio, tried the stitched outfit to see if any alterations were needed before she handed over the dresses. Her energy and passion sure is driving her to bigger heights.
